In 2017, Purvis Industries acquired KMEC, adding to our bulk material handling components and sub-systems offerings. KMEC provides turnkey start-to-finish installations for virtually all bulk material handling projects.  

The process begins in Houston, TX where our licensed structural and civil engineers design a conveyor system around your specifications. We work with you on overcoming terrain obstacles and other design challenges. We can handle practically any conveyor length, even when there are multiple inclines or transfer points. We even built a 12-mile-long horizontal curve conveyor featuring 11 curves – on a single continuous conveyor belt!

Along with designing the conveyor frame, we can include standard add-on items such as walkways, covers, safety guards, wind guards, or conduits. We build comprehensive design plans around meeting your specifications and reducing installation times.   

We manufacture a wide range of bulk material handling installations, such as conveyors for overland or floating applications, as well as ship and barge loaders and unloaders. We also design and build radial stackers and TeleStackers. Additionally, we manufacture standard conveyors such as belt conveyors, drag conveyors, screw conveyors, and bucket elevators.
