DESCRIPTION
Warner Electric®'s Electrically Released Brakes automatically engage when the power goes off. Reliable permanent magnets provide a permanent holding force. Electrical power applied to the coil nullifies the attraction of the permanent magnet and the brake releases. This brake (5391-170-009) features a 90 VDC, a 21 ft-lb static torque and a maximum speed of 4500 rpm.
