Timken® (Fafnir) angular contact ball bearings are designed to handle both radial and axial loading, and are specifically engineered for use in high-speed applications. Single-row bearings have high thrust capacity in one direction and fit shaft sizes of 10mm to 150mm. Double-row angular contact bearings have excellent axial and radial rigidity in confined space and fit shaft sizes of 12mm to 150mm. Double-row angular contact ball bearings consist of two single-row angular contact ball bearings in back-to-back (DB) arrangement with integral double inner and outer rings. They require less axial space than two single row bearings and can take radial loads as well as axial loads in both directions. The Timken (Fafnir) product family is available as light 5200 series and medium 5300 series.
