Boston GearĀ® G463Y Straight Tooth Miter Gear Without Keyway or Setscrews, 32 Pitch, Right Hand Rotation, 20 deg Angle, 24 Teeth, 3/4 in Pitch, 0.14 in Face, 0.188 in Bore, Brass
Boston miter gears are designed for the transmission of motion and power between two intersecting shafts positioned at a right angle. Miter gears are similar to bevel gears except miter gears are used for 1:1 ratios. Straight tooth miter gears are cut with a generated "Coniflex" tooth form providing increased life and quieter operating conditions. Spiral tooth miter gears are better suited for higher speeds and high torque applications.
