DESCRIPTION
The agile large robotThis relatively small and compact robot is easy toinstall thanks to its low weight. In spite of its smallsize neither the handling capacity nor the reachabilityare affected. The robot’s compactness and shelfcapability also make it ideally suited for applicationswhere robots are placed on different levels. Theshelf mounted robot may in this case be tilted toincrease space between the two levels.With the IRB 6620 you get a flexible and cost efficientsolution that generates high uptime and lower pro-duction costs.Machine tendingIRB 6620 is suited for machine tending applicationssuch as Die Casting and Injection Molding, that requiresminimised extraction time. The main benefit is thehuge working range downwards making the robotideal to mount on top of a machine working down-ward to save costly floor space. Another benefit indifferent material handling also saving floor spaceapplications is the IRB 6620 ability to work invertedmounted. In all these configuration the installationwill benefit form the very low weight of the robot.
